TrackMaven is a marketing analytics platform that provides companies competitive analysis and intelligence solutions headquartered in Washington, D.C.. It was founded by Allen Gannett in September 2012. The platform automatically aggregates an industry's data from multiple sources, such as paid, earned, media outlets, brand advocates and others, and benchmarks companies as to offer data and insight.
TrackMaven was established by Allen Gannett on September 2012. The company launched its closed beta in February with 20 enterprises. On May 28, 2013, TrackMaven acquired a $1.25 million in seed funding from Aol Ventures among other angels, and several paying clients, such as Martha Stewart Living, Eddie Bauer, Aol and the NBA. TrackMaven announced its Series A round, a total of $6.5 million, on February 4, 2014 led by New Enterprise Associates accompanied by Bowery Capital and Acceleprise Ventures. Due to the success of the Series A funding round, Harry Weller of NEA, former Eloqua CEO Joe Payne and Sean Glass, co-founder of HigherOne, join as board of directors
