MakeMe is a group challenging app where users post a challenge to motivate one another towards a specific goal. The app's goal is to alter people's habits in small increments through daily actions, accountability groups, social motivation, and gamification elements. Currently available on Android and iOS.
MakeMe was founded by V. Rao Dumpeti and Samir Singh in 2012, and launched the prototype in 2013. Its team is composed of a small band of designers and coders from around the world, including Washington, D.C., La Jolla, CA, and Sao Paulo, Brazil. They partnered up with .ME to launch and market their growing app as a Premium Domain at Make.Me , and got picked up by Tech Cocktail in a startup showcase and competition in 2014 .
